Software is my craft.
Trust is my signature.
I’m Bello Muhammad, a software engineer focused on distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and real-time data infrastructure. Over the years, I’ve worked on backend systems across different industries and countries, solving problems around reliability, scalability, and the movement of data.
My interest in technology started early, growing up in Northern Nigeria. It eventually took me to India, where I studied Information Technology and first learned to build software. What began as curiosity gradually became a career built around understanding how systems work and how to make them work better.
Today, I work primarily on backend, distributed, and event-driven systems. Much of my experience has involved high-volume event processing, data pipelines, asynchronous workflows, system integration, and building services that need to remain reliable as they scale. I work mainly with Java, alongside technologies such as Kafka, Flink, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and related infrastructure.
Rooted in the North. Refined Across Borders.
My career has taken me across countries and different working environments, from Northern Nigeria to India, Turkey, and Germany. Those experiences have shaped how I approach engineering: stay curious, understand the context, communicate clearly, and build systems that people can depend on.
I build systems, share what I learn, and keep learning along the way.
